Fitness is just one aspect of exercise and my mission is to show everyone the healing power that exercise holds so that they can enjoy a healthy lifestyle and be present for the moments that count. This is what inspired me to create the process that makes up The Healing Art of Exercise. Working with alternative practitioners outside of the fitness industry has been humbling and immensely insightful. With each new health practice, the view of how to look at the body and the person as a whole has evolved. This has provided me with the opportunity to develop a unique and holistic approach to fitness.
Exercise is so much more influential than we give it credit for. When you think of the combined motivation of the mind and of the body, you can apply the focus on health first and use exercise as an action to achieve fitness. Fitness can then be redefined as mastery of movement and excellence of self. Now you have something that is inspiring, empowering, and is led with action; a view of exercise as a healing art with the sole purpose of making you the best version of yourself and that just so happens to be what I am happy helping with.
