I have seen many things when it comes to health. I have been fortunate to work with many different health practices and professionals. I have seen health through their eyes and seen the effects of their work. I have studied for many hours on the history of health and the different forms it has taken over generations, cultures, and through new beginnings. I have had many conversations with clients, elders, artists, and children. I have seen the healing in words, in music, and in hands. In my reflections, I was able to know the kind of medicine that heals the person, that heals the family, and that heals the community.
I have searched endlessly for health for myself, but more for those who believe in me and depend on me. Yet through these countless impressions, health has made on me. One stands out so strongly to my ear, my hands, my mind, and that is the healing potential of experience. A person and their experience create life together. If there is a disruption in experience, health cannot find its way back to heal the person. Growth of that person is halted. They stay stuck in a cycle of experience that is lacking. Unless the missing experience is introduced. It may be a physical thing, an emotional thing of mental thing, but when it is found, it starts the self-replenishing cycle and grow/health can continue with no limited function. These years, challenges, and experiences have shaped me without me knowing it till now. I am finally able to use experience as a way of health. Experience, like all tools of health, has its limits and requires years of training; it also has its impact and its abilities.
What are you most excited about?
I am most excited about all this because I am able to share my knowledge with individuals on how human health and healing really are.
How would you explain the healthy experience?
If I had to try and explain without getting into technique and the philosophy of it all. I would say experience is like the medicine in the challenge that you never notice till you sit down to breathe. Only then do you realize it was right beside you, but the only thing is you had to mature before you could receive it, and you had to give it before you could get it.
What do you do now? I think this section needs to be clearer as Iām not sure what it is trying to convey.
Now that experience as medicine or living medicine exists now, I wait for those who are searching for a health focused on replenishment and a style of health that grows with them through life.
