Exercise prescription

This is the process of selecting exercises with the restoration of the body in mind based on the goal of the prescription. In other words, it takes into account all of the below before an exercise is selected for the individual.

Personal Training

Motivating, coaching, and exercising based on improving the performance of the body. This is commonly associated with working out, athletics, strength training, getting ready for the summer, and looking fit.

Muscle Activation

When the body is overloaded it causes the muscles to change the way they should work, often causing specific muscles to be overused. Muscle Activation is the process of getting the muscles to work once again in a balanced way reducing the chances of chronic injury or pain.

Fascial Stretching

Tight fascia is commonly the cause of limited mobility or flexibility even with regular stretching. This kind of tightness builds up over years of everyday activity. Releasing this tension in the body commonly addresses many overuse issues (knee pain, hip pain, chronic headaches, back pain, and hamstring tightness).

Stress Reduction

Calming the nervous system by reducing the tension and pressure that the body is under physically and mentally.

Muscle Rejuvenation

Over time muscles lose their ability to be strong, responsive, and flexible. Muscle rejuvenation focuses on restoring those qualities to the muscle, improving overall body function.

Self-Care Lifestyle Program

Optimizing lifestyle to support health and balance, thus increasing the restoration and maintenance of health. This can also be seen as all the aforementioned services synergistically working together to create a style of living that supports the mental, physical and emotional parts of your health.

We are not shy to call on our own specialists to get second opinions and to quality check your progress. We believe the more we work together the more we can change lives. We generally view it as mind, body, and soul but these are just the morals and not the full expressions of health and how it plays out practically. We will be there to guide you along your path to health regardless of the direction it leads. There will be times where we work more on lifestyle-specific challenges in order to the next step and others where we work on Exercise, therapy, or mindset. We also work in collaboration with your other health practitioner, to insure you get the combined benefits of our cross-practice service.  Self-Care is truly about treating you as a whole person with all the roles you play.
